My heart is broken at the loss of such a dear friend. Sal was one of a kind, and that is too bad. The world would be a better place if more people tried to be like him.

Salud my friend!

My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Sal. He was the light of every event we attended and will be deeply missed. He taught us how to have fun, meet new people and just enjoy life wherever we went. I often tell stories of our ventures out and about where Sal would strike up conversations with total strangers and make them laugh. It was amazing to me that wherever we went, he found people from where he grew up in NY. This world is a better place for having a gentleman such as Sal in it. May he rest in peace.

Sal and I worked together at TWA, went to the FAA at the same time. We then joined AFS-900 any spent many many good times working together. We called our Team the Hogs, that became politically incorrect. We then Team 1, but still Hogs at heart,, it was more a brotherhood.
Rest in peace my brother, you'll be missed.

Sal, I am really going to miss you. Always enjoyed our conversations about being neighbors at JFK, and the good old days of aviation. I always respected you that's why I called you "the voice of reason".
Love to all your family, they are in our prayers.
