Harold Dean McKinnie passed away November 25, 2016. Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, Tuesday, November 29, 2016 with a graveside service to follow at 1:30 at White Chapel Funeral Home and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to Englewood Baptist Church.



Harold was born February 24, 1929 in Hampton, AR, to Horace and Stella McKinnie. He worked as a lineman for 42 years and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 53. Harold was also a Mason, Shriner and member of...

Harold was born February 24, 1929 in Hampton, AR, to Horace and Stella McKinnie. He worked as a lineman for 42 years and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 53. Harold was also a Mason, Shriner and member of the Scottish Rite. He was also a member of Englewood Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Louise McKinnie, and son, Richard McKinnie. He is survived by sons, Larry McKinnie of Holt, MO, and Gary McKinnie (Lori) of Solon, IA; daughter-in-law, Kerryl McKinnie of CA; grandchildren, Kerry Moore, Amy McKinnie, Keith McKinnie, Samantha Vanfossan and Alison McKinnie; and 6 great-grandchildren. Harold loved the outdoors, fishing at Smithville Lake with his wife, hunting quail and deer, as well as farming cattle and horses.
