Elizabeth Mullikin Charles was born on July 26, 1915 to Bette and William T. Mullikin at their home in rural Carroll County, Missouri. After high school, she worked as a nurse in the Benson Hospital in Carrolton, MO. She eventually moved to Kansas City where she worked at Bendix Corporation until her retirement in 1982, at the age of 67.



Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters, as well as one niece, Fern Rostal, of Forest Grove, Oregon, and two nephews, Bill and Larry Benefiel of Norborne, Missouri....

She is survived by five nieces and three nephews who include Nancy (Benefiel) Ogle, Independence, MO, Ted Benefiel, Peculiar, Missouri, Richard Butterfield, Forrest Grove, Oregon, Linda (Fuller) Gottstein, Kansas City, Missouri, Betty (Benefiel) Drehle, Grandview, Missouri, Ron Mullikin, Independence, Missouri, Betty (Mullikin) Holway, Walla Walla, Washington, and Barbara (Mullikin) Gray, Chugiak, Alaska.



Elizabeth was known for her giving nature by all her friends and family and loved by all who knew her.



Our aunt will be remembered with great love; always in our hearts and prayers.



A private inurnment will be held on Thursday, December 8 at 10:30am inside the Revelations Mausoleum at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Gladstone, Missouri.
