Anne Louise Schmidt Eversmeyer, 74, of Kansas City, MO, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday August 8, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Anne was born in Staten Island, NY on February 25, 1943. She grew up in St Louis, MO where she graduated from Roosevelt High School. She studied nursing at Deaconess School of Nursing St Louis, MO and worked as a registered nurse for 29 years at Nephrology Associates. Anne was an active member of Bethel United Church of Christ where for several years she organized Kid’s Fest, worked closely with Backpack Shepherds, sang in the choir, but most importantly dearly loved her friendships with fellow congregants. She loved to garden, sew, read and prepare wonderful meals for holidays and birthdays of her family members.

Anne is survived by her husband Don Eversmeyer, brothers Paul (Nancy) Schmidt, John (Mayra) Schmidt of Houston, TX; niece Paige Schmidt, nephew Jamie (Kelsy) Schmidt, great nephews Ollie and Adler; sister-in-law Adele Eversmeyer Jones of Osage Beach, MO. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends who remember her as a compassionate and caring person.
